About Our Functional Health Assessment Panel
This expanded panel of tests provides you with the most complete picture of your current and future health. It is a report card for your body. These tests help determine how well different parts of your body are working. Here's what each test can tell you:
1. CMP (Comprehensive Metabolic Panel): This test checks how well your kidneys and liver are working. It also looks at your blood sugar and electrolyte levels. It's like a check-up for your body's metabolism!
- What it can detect: Kidney problems, liver disease, diabetes, and electrolyte imbalances.
2. Thyroid Panel: This test checks how well your thyroid gland is working. Your thyroid gland helps control your metabolism, growth, and development.
- What it can detect: Hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid) or hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid).
3. CBC with Auto Differential with Platelets: This test checks the different types of cells in your blood, including red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets.
- What it can detect: Anemia, infection, leukemia, and bleeding disorders.
4. Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c): This test measures your average blood sugar levels over the past 2-3 months. It's like a snapshot of your blood sugar control!
- What it can detect: Diabetes, prediabetes, and how well your diabetes treatment is working.
5. Lipoprotein(a) [Lp(a)]: This test measures a type of cholesterol in your blood called lipoprotein(a). High levels of Lp(a) can increase your risk of heart disease.

- This testing helps guide diagnosis and treatment decisions by identifying infections, inflammation, kidney problems, or other underlying issues in the urinary tract or kidneys.
9. HS-CRP: A high sensitivity C-Reactive Protein (hs-CRP) test is a blood test that measures the level of a protein called C-Reactive Protein (CRP) in your blood. CRP is produced by your liver in response to inflammation in your body.
